Patricia Newman, Ph.D.
Dr. Newman is a licensed clinical child psychologist. She has a B.S. in Elementary Education and an M.S. in Special Education from Creighton University; an M.S. in Educational Psychology from UNO; and a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from UNL. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the Creighton University School of Medicine. She is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist. Dr. Newman has worked in private practice with Family Enrichment, Inc. since 1987 and is previously the Director of Family Therapy Services for Catholic Charities of Omaha. She is the Past President of Jewish Family Services and of Swanson Elementary School's Parent Community Club. She is a Medical Consultant with the Department of Disability Determination Services for Nebraska. Dr. Newman is the President and Founder of R.E.S.P.E.C.T., an organization dedicated to building healthy relationships among children and youth through theatre.

Dr. Newman has been recognized as the "Outstanding School Psychologist of the Year" by the Nebraska School Psychologist Association. In 2006, she was the recipient of the YWCA Tribute to Women Award in the area of Human Services and Community Advocacy. She has two children, ages 19 and 22. Dr. Newman is available to provide a limited number of psychological assessments and consultations for children/youth ages 4-22. She provides optional consultation services with schools and family of up to five hours for students she has assessed.
